U.S. Marine Corps Veteran

Taylor Galadyk is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, elite athlete, and high-performance leadership coach whose work integrates military discipline, athletic movement, and outdoor leadership. After earning her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Louisville—where she was a three-time national champion cheerleader—she commissioned into the Marines, serving from 2014 to 2017 as a Logistics Officer with the 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion within Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Her military tenure, alongside volunteering for the Infantry Officer Course, forged a deep understanding of operational leadership and high-capacity performance under pressure.

Building on her military foundation and experience as a five-time CrossFit Games competitor, Taylor’s leadership seamlessly translates to the outdoors and wilderness stewardship. An avid surfer and advocate for public lands, she is the founder of Her Resilient Sea, an emerging initiative that uses ocean immersion, movement, and outdoor leadership to support mental health and community connection. Her approach centers on the restorative power of nature and physical challenge, helping individuals cultivate resilience through wilderness engagement and active stewardship of public landscapes.

Translating her tactical expertise into business, Taylor founded Valkyrie Performance in 2016, specifically designed to prepare women for physically and mentally demanding military roles. She expanded her focus after earning a Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University, launching Taylor Galadyk Life Coaching in 2020. Today, as a graduate counseling student and business owner, she supports high-performing, high-capacity women—including veterans, mothers, and leaders—guiding them through burnout, mental health, and personal growth.

Rooted in her identity as a Marine veteran, mother of two, and outdoor leader, Taylor remains dedicated to building scalable frameworks for female empowerment, mental wellness, and environmental stewardship. Based with her family and two dogs, she continues to bridge the gap between military service, outdoor pursuits, and holistic leadership to help others find alignment and lasting resilience.
